About the product
The Champion RTM77PP/012 is a double platinum spark plug, with platinum on both the centre and ground electrodes.
On distributorless and waste-spark ignition systems, some plugs fire with reverse polarity, which wears the ground electrode as quickly as the centre electrode. Platinum on both electrodes helps keep the gap stable for the full manufacturer service interval. This plug is a direct replacement only where this Champion part number is specified as original equipment. It is discontinued and no longer manufactured.
