The Champion RERX4ZWYPD-1 / OE259 is an iridium spark plug for listed BMW vehicle fitments. Its centre electrode has an iridium pin welded to a copper core, while the ground electrode has a platinum pad welded to a copper core.

The iridium is described as having a stabilising effect on ignition voltage and wear characteristics. The electrode construction is intended to further reduce erosion, maintain the gap and increase life.

Listed applications include BMW 1 Series Hatchback (F40) engines 116i, 118i, 120i and 128ti; 1 Series Sports Hatchback (F20) engines 120i, 125i, M140i and M140i Xdrive; and 2 Series Active Tourer (F45) engines 216i, 218d, 218i, 220i, 225i and 225xe Plug-in-Hybrid.
