Butler Technik Eberspacher Airtronic S3 D2 12v Sprinter

The Eberspacher Airtronic S3 D2 12 V is a diesel air heater kit with a modulated heat output of 0.85–2.2 kW. It is intended for installation in a Sprinter or Promaster camper van and includes a fuel pickup kit for connection to the vehicle fuel tank.

Automatic altitude compensation supports operation up to 4,000 m (13,123 ft) above sea level. Fuel consumption is 0.1–0.27 l/h, depending on heat output. The kit includes an Easy Start Pro timer and temperature controller with 7-day programmable timing, instant heat and vent modes, plus a remote temperature sensor and digital fault code readout.

Included components also comprise the heater, digitally switched fuel dosing pump and holder, exhaust silencer and fixing clamps, intake air pipe and end cap, wiring harnesses, connections and fuses, fuel pipe, connectors and in-line filter, 1 m stainless-steel exhaust flex pipe, 1 m combustion air pipe and documentation. The Mount PRO installation components are a stainless-steel, 60 mm deep turret floor plate, fixing nuts and the fuel tank pickup connection kit. The plate measures 185 × 165 mm overall and has a circular flange 127 mm in diameter and 60 mm deep.

The plate is designed for insulated flooring, wooden floor linings or corrugated steel floors. Its layout allows access to the heater’s exhaust, combustion air and fuel connections before mounting, and to the remaining mounting studs. The heater can also be installed in addition to a conventional heating system.
