Bosch UNIVERSALDETECT Cable, Pipe and Wood Detector

The Bosch Home and Garden UNIVERSALDETECT is a detector for checking walls, ceilings and floors before drilling. It locates metal objects, single-phase live cables and wooden substructures, with scans reaching up to 10 cm.

Maximum detection depths are 100 mm for metal, 50 mm for live cables and 25 mm for wood. Automatic calibration allows detection to start after switching on. Animated instructions guide operation; an LED traffic light system and optional acoustic warning signal indicate detected objects. A central hole helps with marking their location.
