About the product

The Bosch Home and Garden TRUVO Basic is a wall detector for finding metal objects and live cables. Its traffic-light LEDs show red when a metal object is right next to the detector, amber when metal objects are nearby, and green where no hazards are detected. Separate LEDs identify metal and live cables, while an audio warning system also indicates detected objects.

It detects ferrous and non-ferrous metals to a maximum depth of 70 mm, and live cables to 50 mm. Automatic calibration and a single on-off button allow direct start-up. The detector switches off automatically after 10 minutes and has an approximate working range of 0.07 m.

The carton includes the TRUVO detector, three 1.5 V LR03 (AAA) batteries and a language-neutral quick start manual with graphics to help with correct handling.
