The Bosch Professional GWS 18V-8 is a cordless angle grinder with a brushless motor and 18 V battery voltage. It delivers 800 W of corded-equivalent performance and is designed for light-duty cutting and grinding, including work on rebar, metal sheets, PVC and tiles, as well as deburring light metal.

Its compact, lightweight design has a longer, sleeker grip than previous models. The tool is described as manoeuvrable in tight or awkward spaces. The brushless motor is associated with longer life, more runtime and more power; optimised runtime per charge and fast cutting performance for light applications are also noted. Kickback control reduces the hazard of sudden tool reactions in binding conditions. The metal flange is compatible with Bosch Dust Extractors.
