The Bosch Home and Garden ADVANCEDTRIMROUTER 18V-8 is a cordless trim router supplied with a plunge base for edge trimming and plunge routing. Interchangeable bases allow switching between these modes.

Routing depth can be adjusted using the seven-step turret stop, while the fine adjustment control provides precision to 1/10 mm. The brushless motor, Syneon Technology, integrated LED worklight and spindle lock are among its features. A copy ring enables contours from templates to be copied onto workpieces. It is compatible with a parallel guide and the Bosch guide rail system, and includes a dust extraction adaptor for connection to a vacuum cleaner.
