About the product
The Direnza dog bone engine mount is a billet aluminium replacement for the OEM B48 engine mount on the F40 BMW 1 Series and F44 2 Series.
It has a black anodised finish and a laser-etched Direnza logo, and is supplied with a stiffer polyurethane bush. The bush reduces engine and gearbox movement to limit drivetrain power losses.
The design is intended to improve throttle response, allow more precise gear changes when driven hard on track, and reduce weight transfer. It is described for track use or motorsport.
