About the product
The Black and Decker TLD100 is a thermal leak detector for identifying temperature anomalies associated with poor insulation, draughts and air leaks around the home. It scans surfaces and air currents to identify hot and cold problem areas.
A blue LED indicates cold draughts, while a red LED indicates warm draughts. Sensitivity settings are adjustable, and the measurement scale can be selected in °C or °F. The detector uses a 9V alkaline battery and has an LED display in degrees C/F.
Areas to check include window frames, door seals, loft hatches, and locations around pipework or electrical fittings.
