The Black and Decker GKC1825L is an 18v cordless chainsaw with a 25 cm bar and a chain speed of 3.5 m/s. Its low-kickback chain is described for cutting dry wood and live logs.

The chainsaw has a soft-grip overmoulded rear handle, a front handle with two grip points and balanced weight distribution between the bar and motor section. An automatic oiling system lubricates the chain and bar, and a window shows the oil level. The patented SDS fitting system allows tool-free blade tensioning.
