Arai Tour-X 5 Discovery Orange

The Arai Tour-X 5 Discovery Orange is a full-face motorcycle helmet with a Super Fibre Laminate shell and a VAS-A visor system. The visor and peak can be installed or removed without tools. Its multi-purpose style includes a large eye aperture optimised for goggles and a redesigned nose deflector intended to make goggle use easier.

Ventilation comes from three intake vents and five exhaust vents. The chin vent has an inner shutter for adjustable ventilation. Other features include a 3D logo duct, Delta Duct 6, an AR Spoiler, noise-reducing inner foam and a retractable pull-down chin spoiler. The helmet has a Double D chin retention strap, FCS cheek pads and emergency quick-release cheek pads. Its fully removable interior is antimicrobial and odour-resistant, with an adjustable pad at the rear of the crown pad. A side flat spot, plus pockets and channels for intercom wires, accommodate communication-device fitting.

The size guide gives S for 55–56, M for 57–58, L for 59–60 and XL for 61–62. Motorcycle helmets are designed for a close, comfortable fit and can change size with use. The guide cannot determine an exact fit; fitment advice and trying the helmet before purchase are recommended.
