Arai Tour-X 5 Discovery Black

The Arai Tour-X 5 Discovery Black is a full-face motorcycle helmet with a Super Fibre Laminate shell and a VAS-A visor system. The visor and peak can be installed or removed without tools. Its ventilation system has three intake vents and five exhaust vents, a chin vent with an inner shutter, an AR Spoiler and a Delta Duct 6.

The helmet has a Double D chin retention strap, a large eye aperture optimised for wearing goggles and a redesigned nose deflector. Its interior is fully removable, antimicrobial and odour-resistant, with an adjustable pad at the rear of the crown pad. FCS cheek pads provide a firm fit, and the cheek pads have an emergency quick-release feature. A retractable pull-down chin spoiler reduces wind intrusion and fogging; noise-reducing inner foam is also included. A side flat spot and channels in the helmet allow for discreet fitting of a communication device and hiding intercom wires.

The size guide gives S as 55–56, M as 57–58, L as 59–60 and XL as 61–62. Motorcycle helmets are designed for a close, comfortable fit but can change size with use. Fitment advice and trying the helmet are recommended to help find the correct size. The size guide is only a guide and cannot determine an exact fit.
