The alpinestars Chrome is a textile motorcycle jacket with a knitted fabric main shell and a hoodie-style design. It has aramidic reinforcement on the shoulders, elbows and back, plus CE-certified BIO LIGHT protectors on the shoulders and elbows.

The jacket has a high collar with a removable storm hood, a front zippered hoodie-style hand pocket and a waterproof inner document pocket. Its features include wind proofing and water repellence.
