About the product

The Monument 458N is a tap reseating tool for re-cutting worn tap and stopcock seats without disconnecting pipework. It is designed for 1/2 inch BS1010 flat seat applications.

The tapered cones screw directly into threaded tap bodies. For taps with recessed body threads, the parallel bush series provides an alternative mounting solution. The tool has a fine-adjustment feedscrew for controlling cutting depth and accuracy, and its components are interchangeable.

  • Includes 17 mm and 19 mm (11/16 inch and 3/4 inch) flat cutters and a tapered cone.
  • The cutters are case hardened.
