Makita HR166D 12v Max CXT Cordless Brushless SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill No Batteries No Battery Charger No Case

The Makita HR166D is a cordless brushless SDS Plus rotary hammer drill with a 12 V lithium-ion battery system. Its two operating modes are rotation only and rotation with hammering. The drill has a one-touch sliding chuck for bit installation and removal, variable-speed trigger, constant speed control, forward and reverse rotation, an electric brake and an LED job light.

Drilling capacities are 16 mm in concrete, 10 mm in steel and 13 mm in wood; the optimum drilling range is 4–8 mm. Impact energy is 1.1 J, impact rate is 0–4,800 per minute and no-load speed is 0–680 rpm. Net weight is 1.8–2.4 kg. The compact, lightweight design has vibration-absorbing housing. Vibration values are 2.5 m/s² for metal drilling and 7.5 m/s² for hammer drilling, with a 1.5 m/s² vibration K factor. Noise levels are 97 dB(A) sound power and 86 dB(A) sound pressure, with a 3 dB(A) noise K factor.
