About the product
The Makita HP1640 is a 240 V percussion drill with a 680 W continuous input power rating. It has drilling and impact drilling modes, a variable speed control dial and a reverse gear that provides the same speed and torque in both directions.
Its no-load speed is 0–2,800 rpm, with 0–44,800 impacts per minute. Maximum drilling diameters are 30 mm in wood, 16 mm in concrete and 13 mm in steel. The drill chuck capacity is 1.5–13 mm, and the collar clamping diameter is 43 mm.
The drill has a 2 m power supply cord, weighs 2 kg without the cable and is double insulated. A depth gauge and 13 mm chuck key are included.
