About the product

The Makita GA056G is a cordless angle grinder with a 125 mm disc, designed with a flat head for access in tight spaces.

It runs on a Makita 40 V XGT lithium-ion battery, which is not included. The brushless motor has a soft start, and the paddle switch cuts power when the trigger is released. The electric brake and Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) are also included; AFT shuts off the motor if rotation speed suddenly drops. The battery protection system cuts power when the battery level is low.

  • Disc diameter: 125 mm; maximum depth of cut: 30 mm
  • No-load speed: 3,000–9,000 rpm
  • Dimensions: 483 × 140 × 136 mm
  • Net weight: 2.4 kg; typical weight with battery: 3.1–4.4 kg
  • XPT improves resistance to dust and water ingress
  • Makpac carry case included; no battery or charger
