About the product
The Makita DSC251 is a cordless steel rod cutter for cutting threaded rods and rebar. It runs on Makita’s 18 V LXT battery platform and has a brushless motor and automatic torque drive, which adjusts cutting speed according to load conditions.
The 110 mm flangeless blade cuts rebar from 10 to 25 mm in diameter. Its design provides a cutting edge and allows smooth nut mounting on threaded rod. Removable dust covers and an integrated dust bag collect chip powder. A battery fuel gauge shows the charge level.
