About the product
The Makita BO5030 is a 125 mm random orbit sander with 240 V supply and 300 W continuous input power. Its random orbit action is described for sanding and finishing wood, metal and composite surfaces. Variable speed control allows the speed to be adjusted to the application.
The sander has a 123 mm pad, a 125 mm disc and a 2.8 mm orbit diameter. It runs at 12,000 orbits per minute, weighs 1.3 kg and measures 153 × 123 × 153 mm (L × W × H). The power supply cord is 2 m long.
Dust extraction is available through the base plate, or external extraction can be connected. Other features include a rubberised grip, an ergonomically designed handle, robust ball bearings and hook-and-loop fastening. The contents include a dust bag, Ring 25 (BO4555), dust bag nozzles 416063-0 and 416064-8, and abrasive disc 125-120.
