About the product

The Faithfull EM908 is a socket polarity and RCD tester for checking wiring in UK 240 V 3-pin sockets and testing RCD operation. Three neon indicators show the status of Live, Neutral and Protective Earth connections, alongside two additional indicators for a five-light diagnostic system. A supplied coding table helps interpret the indicator pattern.

The LCD provides ground error indication for contact voltage at the protective earth terminal. The RCD function tests devices rated up to 30 mA, with test times of 60–300 ms and a test current of 30 mA ±15%. The tester has a 220–240 V AC range, a nominal voltage of 220 V ±10% and a frequency range of 50–60 Hz.
