The Draper Expert external micrometer is a metric precision measuring instrument with a 0 to 25 mm range and 0.01 mm graduations.

It has an enamelled frame with integrated heat plates, a satin chrome thimble and sleeve, and carbide-tipped anvils. A ratchet stop provides consistent measuring pressure, while the lock function secures measurements for recording.
