About the product

The Draper DAT-ABS is an air belt sander for detailed finishing in confined areas, including narrow spaces and recessed corners. Its aluminium housing weighs 0.78kg, and the tool has a soft-grip handle, rear exhaust that directs air away from the work surface, and a lever throttle for speed control.

The sander has a 10mm-wide belt, a 330mm belt length and a 280mm overall length. It runs at 18,000rpm free speed and 90 psi (6.2 bar), with average air consumption of 6cfm (170L/min) and a vibration level of 4.8m/s². It has a 1/4" BSP air inlet and requires a minimum 3/8" (10mm) hose. The air inlet is compatible with standard workshop air compressor systems.

An easy belt replacement system allows grit changes. The set includes the air belt sander, one each of 60-, 80- and 120-grit sanding belts, and a 1/4" BSP airline connector.
