About the product

The Draper socket and voltage tester set contains a non-contact voltage tester and a 13 amp socket tester for electrical checks. The voltage tester detects AC voltage from 200 to 600 V without direct contact with conductors. It can be used to identify live wires, locate broken wires and check outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, wires and cables.

The socket tester checks wiring integrity and identifies common faults, including a missing earth connection, live and neutral reversal, live and earth reversal, and neutral or live faults. The voltage tester uses two AAA batteries, which are sold separately. Always test on a known live circuit before using these testers.
