The Dewalt DCK229P2T cordless drill kit contains a DCH273 18 V brushless three-mode hammer and a DCD996 18 V brushless combi drill, along with a charger, case and two 5 Ah lithium-ion batteries.

• The DCH273 has rotary, SDS hammer and chisel-only modes, 2.1 joules of impact energy and drilling capacities of 26 mm in wood, 13 mm in metal and 24 mm in masonry.
• The DCD996 has a 13 mm keyless chuck, three-speed all-metal transmission, 11-position torque control and 95 Nm maximum torque. Its capacities are 55 mm in wood, 15 mm in steel and 16 mm in masonry.
• The DCB105 charger works with 10.8, 14.4 and 18 V XR Li-ion DEWALT Slide Pack batteries. Its LED indicates charge status, power problems and batteries that are too hot or too cold.
