The Bosch Home and Garden ADVANCEDTRIMROUTER 18V-8 is a cordless trim router with interchangeable bases for edge trimming and plunge routing. Its brushless motor, Syneon Technology and 18 V PowerForAll lithium-ion battery system are part of the design.

A seven-step turret stop and fine adjustment control allow routing depth adjustment, with accuracy up to 1/10 mm. The no-load speed is 10,000–30,000 opm. It is compatible with a parallel guide and the Bosch guide rail system, and includes an integrated LED worklight, spindle lock and a dust extraction adaptor for connecting to a vacuum cleaner. A copy ring enables contours from templates to be copied onto workpieces.
